We Have A New Website

17-Apr-2013

Hello

I'm Dan Whitley. Thank you for coming to my new website. You'll be glad you did.

I am an expert in training young musicians. Early in my musical career, I sang harmony and played bass guitar with "The Lettermen." You may not know who we were, but your parents do. They know we're the kings of vocal harmony in pop and rock n' roll with 11 gold records and 16 Top-10 hits like:

  • When I Fall in Love
  • Can't Take My Eyes Off of You
  • Put Your Head on My Shoulder
  • Goin' Out Of My Head

This is my Tribute to The Lettermen when I was singing with Sun, Shade, and Rain. I'm singing in the center.

I can teach your children how to sing well and play guitar — accoustic, electric, or bass guitar — I have played them all. I and our other teachers also teach piano, keyboards, drums, violin, trumpet, etc. Please check out all of our private music lessons

My greatest joy is to teach young talent how to be better. I work with all ages, but I especially like to start with the youngest — about the time they start school. You will be amazed how well they do and how pleased they are with themselves. We also have Kodaly music classes for the very young — as young as three. See if you'd like to join one of our fun performing groups or classes. Check out this video recording of our Prodigy Band playing at Disneyland recently:

I have also trained professionals how to improve, or recapture their voices.  Maybe you have heard of country music star, Kenny Stripling? I recently helped him save his voice as his vocal coach. I can do the same for you. Here he is singing on YouTube:

And by the way, we have a professional recording studio. Students can actually see and hear how they are progressing, and cut professional recordings if they want. Here is a sample of some of our student recordings:

Please visit our new online store for all your music needs. To schedule a lesson, group, or recording session, call me at the number below, or use our Contact Us page. Remember, music truly can be a light in your life.
