Group bands provide an excellent way for a student to interact with others and learn to be part of a band. Performances are regularly scheduled and will help improve social skills and self-confidence.
Vocal Tip
Children under 12 who learn voice have a tendency to raise their chin and yell their music. Amateaur music teachers in elementary schhols and church groups tend to tell the kids to sing louder. The focus should be on keping your chin down, open your mouth wide and use plenty of air, but don't yell.
